In-Kind Donations

Important: We are not currently accepting used donations due to limited space and overwhelming amounts of unusuable items that have been dropped off in the past. 

We have created a page on Facebook called Waco Foster Swap that is designated for gifting gently used items directly to the families we serve. Thank you for understanding!

When you provide basic necessities to a child in foster care, you give so much more than a bed to sleep in or a toy to play with; you let a child know he or she is loved, cared for and valued. Your gift also helps relieve the burden and expenses foster families face, empowering them to focus on supporting the child in their care, not scrambling to find a car seat or clothes that fit during already stressful time. 

Once opened, our resource center will be stocked by your donations with new items such as clothes, underwear, socks, toothbrushes, books, toys, beds and bedding, car seats, strollers and more. Items that you donate go directly to caring for children in the child welfare system. For safety reasons and to provide the most dignifying experience for the children we serve, we can only accept most items brand new and our needs are often changing based on inventory and available storage space. In an effort to be resourceful, we do sometimes supplement with "like new" clothing and some infant gear (such as strollers and big ticket items that are in good condition).
