We’re Thrilled to Announce the 2024 Roots and Boots Gala!
We are incredibly excited to announce that the annual Roots and Boots Gala, themed "Luck of the Draw," is back for another year! This beloved event is a cornerstone of our community’s support for Foster Village Waco, bringing together friends, family, and supporters for an evening of celebration and giving.
Mark your calendars for December 6th, 2024, from 6 PM - 11 PM, at The Exchange in McGregor, Texas. Join us for a night filled with meaningful connections, delicious food, and lively entertainment—all in the spirit of helping foster children and families in our community.
We can’t wait to share this special evening with you and continue the tradition of making a difference together!
Foster parenting does not have to be a journey you take alone. There are others just like you who understand what the journey is like and are here to be a community of support for you.
At Foster Village Waco, we help bring this community together and provide friendship, camaraderie, relief and resources for foster parents who need to know they are not alone.

Monthly Gatherings
Foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers - we'd love for you to join us for this month's CAREGIVER GATHERING - an evening designed to help you connect with others as you gain helpful resources and tools for the journey. Join us to meet other caregivers around Foster Village Waco and enjoy a complimentary dinner! (Childcare provided!)
Regular Events
Foster parents, you deserve a day off! Alongside our community and church partners, we host a fun-filled evening for your kiddos, so you can enjoy a few hours of kidless freedom. Space is limited, so claim your spot early! We are also in need of volunteers to help with childcare. Please click on the link below to register for the event.
