Amanda Vasquez

Amanda (Mandy) Vasquez is an Austin native who has found a hometown in Waco where she, along with the best village of family and friends, is raising her 9 children. Amanda's family has grown through adoption and her experience in foster care as moved through licensed foster parent, kinship caregiver, and adoptive parent allowing her to intimately understand the journey of the community Foster Village Waco supports. Coming on as Executive Director when Foster Village Waco launched in 2018, Amanda has been passionate about helping the greater community find their unique way of standing in the gap for families involved in foster care.
In her free time, she loves to travel, watch live music, and spend time with the wonderful people that make up her village.
